"Great journey, stepping forward" -- that's the official slogan for this year's 70th anniversary of Korea's liberation from Japanese colonial rule.
The government made the announcement Monday.
The slogan will be printed out on commemorative stamps and coins and used in festivities leading up to the actual Liberation Day on August 15th.
"Great journey" refers to the country's miraculous development from post-war poverty to Asian economic powerhouse.
"Stepping forward" signifies the country's mission to unify the two Koreas in the near future.
