Han made the proposal here during the 5th WWF while giving a presentation on South Korea's water-related policies, including low-carbon green growth.
Launched in 1997, the non-governmental WWF is held every three years to discuss ways to cope with water-related issues, and is attended by government officials, scholars, activists and businesses representatives.
Han said South Korea's green growth policy, unveiled in January, will use 50 trillion won (US$34.92 billion) over the next four years and create some 1 million jobs.
