South Korean Prime Minister Han Seung-soo and his French counterpart, Francois Fillon, expressed deep concern over North Korea's recent underground nuclear test and launch of missiles, according to South Korean officials. They also agreed on bilateral cooperation to overcome the global economic crisis while discussing matters of mutual concern.
The two prime ministers expressed their appreciation for developments in bilateral relations and agreed to promote cooperation in the fields of information technology and science and technology.
In addition, Han asked for Paris' cooperation for an early return of the "Oekyujanggak" royal documents of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), which the French navy took from Korea over a century ago.
